Littleton Independent to host public forum

Town hall set for evening of June 30

The Littleton Independent will host a town hall on June 30, part of a grant-funded project to hear from readers and the community regarding priorities and interests.

The event is free and open to the public and will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Shift Workspaces, located at 2679 W. Main St. in Littleton. To register for the event click here.

The town hall is the final piece of the multi-faceted project. Over the last year, the Independent, which is part of the Colorado Community Media network, has hosted multiple focus groups and an online survey to discuss community issues.

Housing density and affordability were among the chief concerns residents have expressed.

During the town hall, representatives from the Independent will ask about what concerns residents, what they like in the community and how they feel about the media and the local coverage the newspaper provides.
