The 18th Judicial District’s 2018 Senior Law and Safety Summit is coming up Sept. 15 at the Charles Schwab conference center in Lone Tree.
Attendees can go to educational workshops on scams, investment fraud and ID theft prevention; how to reduce senior exploitation; home and community safety; navigating probate, advance directives and other legal documents; end-of-life decision-making; and reverse mortgages, among other topics.
Registration is $10 and includes continental breakfast, a box lunch and a copy of the 2018 Colorado Senior Law Handbook. Older adults, families providing care to elders and pre-retirees are urged to attend. The deadline to register is Sept. 12.
