Recycle computers and give back to schools

Posted

Littleton-area residents cannot only help keep toxic e-junk out of the landfills this weekend but also raise money for Littleton high schools.

To commemorate America Recycles Day, Staples will host a technology recycling drive at its Littleton location, 8055-3 W. Bowles Ave., on Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Old computers, printers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, speakers, mice and fax machines can all be recycled at the event.

To demonstrate Staples’ commitment to the environment and local education, the company will contribute $5 for each recycled item, up to a maximum donation of $5,000, to be divided among Littleton, Arapahoe and Heritage high schools.
