apartment while wielding a knife and threatening to “crucify” a
woman and her niece.
Kevin D. Krieger, 27, was arrested and taken to the Arapahoe

The following is the sequence of events that led to the arrest,
according to a news release by the Littleton Police Department:
At about 3:30 a.m. March 26, police received a call to an
apartment at 5780 S. Curtice St., from a woman stating that an
unknown male was attempting to break into her apartment. The woman,
who lived with her teenage niece, told police dispatch that the
male was shouting and attempting to forcibly break in.
Staying on the phone with dispatch, the woman stated that the
man had broken through her patio doors and was now inside her
apartment and attempting to kick in her locked bedroom door where
she and her niece were hiding. The man was reportedly shouting that
he was going to “crucify them.”
Littleton Police officers made entry into the apartment and
confronted the suspect, who was found standing in the hallway
outside the resident’s bedroom door. Krieger, who was armed with a
knife, was arrested without incident and taken to jail.
