Littleton police arrested an 18-year-old Centennial woman in connection with two bank robberies Jan. 11 in the south metro area.

Key Bank on South Broadway in Littleton was robbed around 3:20 p.m. Jan. 11 by a Hispanic female. A short time later, the Wells Fargo Bank in Englewood was robbed by a suspect fitting a similar description.

Littleton police officers and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Janine Clara LeDoux at her residence without incident. LeDoux allegedly entered Key Bank and presented a note to a teller indicating she had a gun and demanded money. She was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the bank, police said.

The Englewood incident is still under investigation. Littleton detectives are handling the investigation and are also collaborating with FBI Safe Streets.
