The City of Littleton, along with Ascension Lutheran Church and
Hands Across Littleton, will sponsor the annual "Littleton
Neighborhood Cleanup Day" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16. The event
will be based at Ascension, 1701 W. Caley Avenue. The group will be
concentrating efforts this year on people who need help with
general cleanup of their yards and houses.
The city is looking for elderly or handicapped citizens in need
of this kind of service, as well as volunteers to help with the
cleanup. The Neighborhood Cleanup Day is a great way to give back
to the community. Lunch and drinks are provided for the volunteers
