Army Reserve Sgt. Flynn prepares for deployment

Army Reserve Sgt. Ashley D. Flynn has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, N.J., in preparation for deployment to serve in support of either Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom. Flynn is a member of the 592nd Ordnance Company, Butte, Mont.

Flynn is an ammunition specialist with three years of military service. She is the daughter of Gerard J. Boland, of Helena, Mont., and Melody D. Diehl, of Littleton. Her husband, Daniel, is the son of Joseph P. and Rene A. Flynn, of Redmond, Wash.

The sergeant graduated in 2002 from Capital High School, Helena, and received a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Montana State University, Bozeman.
