Shepherd of the Hills Christian School marked a milestone by
holding a 25th anniversary kickoff event on Aug. 18.
Students and teachers from the school in Centennial also are
working on their first service project of the year: collecting
hygiene items for the Denver Rescue Mission. The community is
invited to help in collecting toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant,
disposable razors and shaving cream. Items may be brought to the
school’s office before Sept. 30.
The first classes at the school began Sept. 3, 1985. It serves
families with children in preschool through eighth grade. The
average class size is 18 students.
