Littleton Public Schools closed due to winter weather
Classes cancelled and school-sponsored events to be rescheduled

All Littleton Public Schools will be closed on Jan. 18 due to winter weather conditions.
On Jan. 17, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for portions of east central, north central and northeast Colorado, including Littleton. Officials predict total snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches.
The warning is effect from Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. until Jan. 18 at 5 p.m., with the heaviest snow expected overnight. The weather service warned people of hazardous conditions for Wednesday morning commutes.
In addition to the class cancellation, all school-sponsored activities scheduled to take place on Jan. 18 are cancelled or rescheduled, according to an announcement on the district’s website.
