Senator dodges issues

It was good to read about Cory Gardner finally getting out to our area and meeting with his constituents. However, we would have appreciated advance notice so we could actually talk with our elusive senator.

Your summary of his visit to Littleton was quite telling. While he took questions on his visit, it was disappointing that he failed to fully answer important ones on Medicaid and climate change. Thanks to the small business owners for asking those questions; shame on Gardner for not answering them.

This voter is tired of Gardner dodging opportunities to take a stand on issues of substance — issues that his constituents deem serious.
