The holiday lights on Main Street are beautiful. They are a great tradition in downtown Littleton.

I drove through downtown at 5:45 a.m. last weekend and the holiday lights on Main Street were still on. Is it necessary to keep the lights on all through the night? How much money would it save if they were turned off at 2 a.m.?

This is one instance where taxpayers probably would not mind being left in the dark.
