Juneta Allerheiligen, retired banker and beloved
mother and grandmother, was received into the arms of the Lord
January 1, 2011 at the age of 91.
Juneta was born June 22, 1919 in Syracuse,
Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska in1940.
There she met Orval L. Allerheiligen and they were married on May
1, 1941. He preceded her in death. She retired as Trust Officer at
the Wells Fargo Bank of Denver in 1984 after twenty years of
service. A long-time resident of Littleton, CO, she moved to
Greeley in 2008 to be near her daughter. She was a member of
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Littleton. Her many
interests and talents include playing the piano, singing in the
choir and needle working. She was active in several bridge groups,
traveled extensively and grew beautiful roses in her garden.
She is survived by her sister Alys Marie Gately,
her three children, Kay Hill Duff, Ted Allerheiligen, and Joyce
Jablonski, and her five grandchildren, Mark Hill, Karen Hill, John
Allerheiligen, Stephen Jablonski and Rachel Jablonski.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be
held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 29 at Shepherd of the Hills
Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery
in Denver. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations
be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 7691 S.
University Blvd., Centennial, CO 80122 and University of Colorado
Hospital - Cancer Center.
