The Heritage High School football team made it three in a row with a 38-0 shutout of Golden High School.

However, Golden held it close through three quarters, but Heritage busted out with four TDs in the final frame. Eagles running back Jordan Delbaugh scored four times and finished with 123 yards rushing, and Blair Zimmerman added a touchdown Sept. 12.

Zimmerman finished with 71 yards rushing on 14 carries.

The Heritage (2-0 West Metro League, 3-0 overall) defense has allowed a total of 6 points by their three opponents.

The Eagles have their first home game of the season at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 against Denver North (0-2, 0-3).

Against Golden, Heritage quarterback Mitch Griebel carried the ball 18 times for 106 yards and was 8 of 16 for 84 yards through the air.

Delbaugh’s four TDs brought his season total to a team-high seven.
