The Littleton Housing Authority is seeking sponsors for their
2011 Holiday Adopt-A-Family program. Sponsors are matched with
households to provide gifts, food etc. to families in need. LHA
households range from one to seven members including seniors and
those with disabilities.
If you or your family, work place or organization would like to
sponsor an LHA household, there is no minimum or maximum amount and
donations are tax deductible. Family "Wish Lists" are also
available to sponsors who choose to use them.
With the help of the Littleton community, LHA's Holiday
Adopt-A-Family has provided assistance to families with low to
moderate income the past five years. The exchange of donations is
coordinated through Resident Services and sponsors choose a gift
drop or to make deliveries and meet families. Deadline for
sponsorship is Dec. 2 with all donations due by Dec. 20.
