Holiday Treasure Chest. Expert crafter Pat Vick will present two
identical workshops on creating a miniature holiday treasure chest
from 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m. Nov. 27 at Bemis Public Library.
These classes are open to adults and children ages 8 and older who
are accompanied by an adult. Participants must bring $2.50 for
materials. Wear an apron or “crafty clothes.” Since space is

OLLI South Holiday reception and registration for winter term
classes from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 1. Meet our esteemed OLLI
facilitators, members and prospective members. You may also
register for winter term classes while you're there. OLLI South is
presenting an intriguing slate of winter classes. The program is
sponsored by the University of Denver's University College and the
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute for active minds ages 50 and

Breakfast with Santa. Arapahoe Community College’s annual
Breakfast with Santa holiday event is at 8 a.m. Dec. 4 and includes
breakfast, entertainment, holiday crafts, door prizes and pictures
with Santa. Tickets are $2 and must be purchased ahead of time from
the student affairs office. Children under 2 years of age do not

Family Ceramic Gifts. Create a colorfully decorated ceramic
plate using slip/glaze and have it fired from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 5

person making a plate needs to register. If several people work on
one plate then only one registration is needed. Spend 20 minutes or
the full 2 hours. All materials furnished. Children under 10 must
