In their fifth paired solo show, Valerie Savarie and Sharon Eisley explore their interpretations of "escape" through altered book sculpture and paintings.
With two new bodies of work, each artist has pushed themselves outside of their comfort zone embracing the true meaning of Escape.
Escape: breaking away from the patterns we create; allow the mind to indulge in a world of magic and make believe; to free oneself from the restrictions placed upon us by society and culture; from the chains that bind and the teeth that bite.
And back by popular demand will be their Cabinets of Curiosity that will be unveiled at the opening reception at 6:23pm. What is inside will remain a mystery until the unveiling and is sure to delight all those who attend.
