Littleton residents are invited to attend a District IV meeting hosted by councilmember Debbie Brinkman on July 18 from 1 -3 p.m. in the Solar Classroom at the Carson Nature Center.

Discussion will include an update on the police facility, the 2010 budget and Council’s upcoming agendas.

A special ride-a-long with the Littleton Police Special Enforcement Team (SET) is scheduled after the meeting.

The “Cops, Spokes and Folks” ride will begin at 3 pm and will conclude back at Carson at 5 pm.

As a part of the 2009 National Night Out campaign, the LPD SET will be teaching bicycle safety, awareness, education and enforcement.

The Carson Nature Center is located behind Aspen Grove in the South Platte Park.

Parking is available in the staff lot to the south — overflow parking is available in the RTD light rail lot. Park bikes them on the west deck of the solar classroom.
