In 2006, actor/director/playwright Pamela Clifton, who oversees
Children’s Theater at Town Hall Arts Center, wrote and produced a
play called “Destination Dinosaurs,” which was presented at the
Avenue Theater.
Area children are fortunate that it will be presented again in
two Saturday May 2 performances: 10 a.m. and noon, at Town Hall
Arts Center, 2450 W. Main St., Littleton. Each Clifton will play
world renowned paleontologist Henrietta Higglemeyer, who wants to
prove her theory that dinosaurs were warm blooded. She and crazy
sidekick Igor have invented a time machine to take them, and all of
the audience assistants, back in time to find a dinosaur egg for
research.
In addition to the performances, kids will find hands-on
dinosaur artifacts from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science,
dinosaur face painting, dinosaur cookies. Meet Diney the Dinosaur
and her dinosaur balloon animals.
Tickets: $6.50 children; $7.50 adults. 303-794-2787 ext. 5,
