Littleton and Centennial square dancers performed an exhibition dance Aug. 1 for residents and staff at Cherrelyn HealthCare Center. The dancers also performed at the Buck Recreation Center.

The caller was Loren Behm, a member of the performing club Mountaineers. The Mountaineers Square Dance Club has been a regular participant in the Western Welcome Week parade for more than 30 years and is ready to "square 'em up" on its float again this month. Dancers also have danced many hours at the former Turkey Leg events. Classes begin Sept. 12 with a free chili supper, and twice a week thereafter.
