Country Financial donates $1,500 to Littleton Police K9s

Posted

Littleton Police Department's K9 team received a $1,500 boost courtesy of Country Financial of Littleton on Sept. 16, part of Country's nationwide Operation Helping Heroes program that seeks to donate $3 million to first responders, medical workers and military service members.

Country representative Travis Jensen and office manager Vanessa Riley presented the check to Friends of Littleton K9, a nonprofit that raises funds to support the department's K9 program. The group has seen donations slow during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Officers Krista Dimock and Parker Choate, who care for LPD's K9 officers Zan and Bandit, joined Sue Otto, Sue Hanson and Joe Hanson of Friends of Littleton K9 to receive the check.
