Littleton City Councilmember Jim Taylor has been elected vice chair of the Denver Regional Council of Government Board of Directors. The board elected its 2010 officers on Feb. 17.

Taylor has represented Littleton on the DRCOG Board of Directors since January 2007, and served as the alternate before that time. In addition, he previously held the posts of DRCOG secretary in 2009 and treasurer in 2008.

“I think that it’s a great honor,” Taylor said. “I’m very pleased to be serving as vice chair.”

DRCOG is a nonprofit regional planning agency, made up of municipal officials. The 56-member board has representatives from all nine counties in the Denver-metro area.
