Clerk reminding primary voters to register

The Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is reminding voters wishing to participate in the all-mail Aug. 10 primary election that they must be registered members of the Democratic, Republican or Libertarian parties by July 12.

Clerk and Recorder Nancy Doty is encouraging interested residents who are not registered with any of the three parties to use a new online registration system at arapahoevotes.com and click on the “register to vote” button.

“It’s very easy to change your party affiliation, update your address or even register to vote for the first time,” said Doty, adding that voters can also use the system to request mail ballots for future Arapahoe County elections.

For more information about the primary, visit arapahoevotes.com or call the Arapahoe County Elections Division at 303-795-4511.

The general election is Nov. 2.
