Starting Jan. 7, Children’s Hospital Colorado will add urgent-care services to its existing Littleton clinic at 151 W. County Line Rd.
The new urgent care offers medical evaluation and management for unscheduled, walk-in pediatric patients with acute illness or injury that require immediate care but is not serious enough to warrant a visit to an emergency room.
Common urgent care medical care for children includes: fever; sore throat; cold or flu symptoms; wheezing, coughing or breathing difficulties; vomiting or diarrhea; minor abrasions, cuts and lacerations; sprains, strains and musculoskeletal injuries; minor head injuries; skin rashes; allergies; and other acute non-emergency problems.
Hours will be 5 p.m.-midnight Monday-Friday and noon-midnight on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The telephone number is 720-777-1320.
