Breast Cancer walk headed for Littleton

The breast Cancer 3-Day 60 mile walk is coming to Littleton on Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event starts Aug. 28 and ends on Aug. 30 in downtown Denver.

Several hundred walkers and support vehicles will be going east on Mineral into the city of Centennial and come back into Littleton heading west on Littleton Boulevard.

The walkers will end up at the front lawn of the Littleton Center, which will serve as a rest stop. Support vehicles and equipment will arrive at the Littleton Center Saturday morning and be removed Saturday afternoon. They will leave the Littleton Center and continue up Bowles to Clement Park. Organizers don’t need any special street closure, police or fire assistance from Littleton. They have a lot of volunteers and support vehicles. You are encouraged to hang banners or signs, hand out goodies or display pink in any way that shows your support for breast cancer research and education.

If you want additional information, visit www.The3Day.org or call Erin Hayes, Field Coordinator, at 800-996-3DAY, ext. 711.
