What’s the lesson?

Littleton Public Schools Superintendent Brian Ewert says that students participating in school walkouts is a teachable moment. What exactly is being taught?

If kids want to demonstrate, they can do it on their own time. It is taxpayers who are subsidizing a walkout and interrupted teaching time. If an employee walked out of a job, there would be docked pay and even loss of a job. Mr. Ewert made bad decision.
