Join us for the 9th Annual Free Yoga in the Park – No experience required– best part, it’s all FREE! We believe yoga is a sacred practice to feed our body/mind and spirit. It’s a time to honor an inward journey without the chaos and interruptions of daily living and what better place to be sacred than on the Earth.
The radiance of yoga and nature is like an exploration to space – a deep immersion to the unknown. When you meet us on the mat outdoors, you open yourself to the practice of movement, breath, mudra, and meditation and awaken to the exploration of what defines you from the inside out and the outside in. This life changing intimacy with self, then spills softly into the world around you.
This practice welcomes both beginners and seasoned yogis alike, 18 yrs+. So, step outdoors in nature, breathe life into yourself, and connect to your own innate bliss. This program is offered FREE, with the ultimate intention of creating a happier and more joyful you. Last year, over 3,000 participants were inspired to roll out their mat and join us in the weekly community event.
DATES AND LOCATION
Beginning Saturday, May 27 through September 2, residents age 18 and over can participate in an hour long practice from 8:15-9:15, with only a few minor date exceptions. NO sessions will be held June 10 and June 24 due to other commitments in the park. Sessions are held at Civic Green Park, located at 9730 Ridgeline Road, Highlands Ranch, CO, adjacent to the Highlands Ranch Public Library.
Yoga sessions are guided by NamasteWorks Yoga & Wellness volunteer certified and seasoned instructors; Nancy Levenson, Jena Sawyer, Renee Carrillo, Barbara Bloodgood, and Charmaine Stratman, and Kate Roberts.
